The new Matić wine brand and label was brought to market in 2009. This relatively small, and fairly unknown Istrian winemaker, had presented us with a dilemma. Up until then, most of our clients had been larger companies and institutions. This new client was short of funds. He had barely enough to pay for the design and printing of the wine labels. He had no resources for promotion which is essential when launching a new product. Hence, we were sceptical. In the end, however, we took the job and finished it off to everyone's satisfaction. Today, almost two years on, we are pleased to see Matić wines slowly taking their place in supermarkets and wine shops, side by side with some of the country's best wines.
